Intermediate Poi Spinning Course
Established since 2005, Perfect Circle Poi has been teaching Beginner, Intermediate and Fire Courses to a wide range of clients, from International Professional Fire Performers such as the renowned “Fuel Girls” to children and adults of all aspirations and abilities.
INTERMEDIATE COURSE - TRICKS AND TECHNIQUES
The Intermediate Course explores more challenging poi moves developed from the Beginner Course - including various shoulder and hip reels (same, split & alternate time) the wiggle, sweeps, take-outs from butterfly, various complex lockout combinations, isolation, stall and flower combinations (in/anti spin) turning with butterfly, split time butterfly and four beat moves (including corkscrew/windmill) as well as more signature poi moves such as thread-the-needle, five beat weave and behind-the-back weave.
Classes are creative and challenging and students leave the course with a sophisticated understanding of choreography and poi spinning.
